Presales Starting Fall 2024
Designed in the USA the Golden GMX is the most customizable off-road motorcycle of it’s kind. The GMX frame has been designed as either a complete ready-to-ride package OR an open platform for DIY builders, allowing multiple drive train component combinations. Whether you are looking for an technical trail bike or a full blown hare scramble machine the GMX can suit your needs. The GMX complete package comes with a 32kW peak drive system which we’ve found to be perfectly suited for off-road trail riding and single track hare scrambles.
An All New Look at Frame Design. The GMX frame was designed from the ground up, positioning the core power delivery drive components in an inline and compact composition, while keeping the tried and true steering angle and suspension geometry of a proven MX bikes. The result is a clean, streamlined, and high strength chassis that is extremely well balanced with low center of gravity. This allows the GMX to feel light and nimble while thrashing through diverse range of terrain. The GMX’s double-cradle frame design keeps the powerful lithium battery protected at all edges. This strong and rigid protection provides good piece of mind, knowing that the battery stays safely protected at all times.
Quick Swap Battery System. Boasting a whopping 6.5kWh SWAPPABLE lithium battery, the GMX has no problem running 90-120 mins per charge when riding wooded trails with diverse elevation changes at speeds averaging between 20-50 mph. If you are looking for top end don’t fret, the GMX is geared for a top speed of over 70 mph. During testing the GMX was able to be ridden ALL DAY along side of internal combustion bikes when using two swappable battery packs. One pack is always on the charger while the other pack is in use.
The Perfect Open Platform for DIY Bike Builders. For the more power hungry riders the GMX can be purchased as a rolling chassis, which means it comes with everything accept the motor, controller and battery. This allows the owner to equip the bike with any motor/controller/battery combination that they wish. The modular controller heatsink is large enough to equip controllers as large as the Sevcon Gen4 Size 6 controller and motors as large as the Motenergy ME1507. Each motor can be equipped with just a simple swap out of the motor mounting plate which is made of flat high grade aluminum. Feasibly the GMX could be equipped with components to reach peak power specs of up to 60-80kW with the right combination of components.
Hill Climbing POWER. The bike’s sprocket ratio is tuned for maximum hill climbing torque. Rest assured that when you need hill climbing power it will be there with the flick of your wrist. Acceleration is quick and snappy, allowing the rider to raise front wheel over obstacles while riding more technical terrain. On hole shots the GMX quickly accelerates past 250cc trail bikes.
FULL SIZE electric dirt bike. Unlike many other electric off-road bikes on the market, the GMX is true full size dirt bike with a 37.5″ (953 mm) seat height and standard 21/19 wheels. The seat height is comparable to that of standard 250-450cc petrol base MX bikes.

The Electric GMX Difference.
“I’ve ridden ICE bikes for over 40 years and have made the GMX my go-to trail bike. I just recently took first place in a local hare scramble. This bike rips! It feels light, nimble and has insane acceleration that my old YZ250 just can’t match. The bike is easy to tune with minimal maintenance required. There are no fluids, no spark plugs, no gears and no kick starters to slow you down. Just hop on, turn on and go”.
